In order to add more value to the role played by the European funded projects, European Academy has decided to award each year the most successful concluded project. The European Academy believes that best practices in project development must be collected and compared in order to offer and enrich the members with new way of projects proposal, development and management.The aim of this award is to showcase and communicate best practices of European funded projects, consequently to highlight and present the most outstanding accomplishments within this arena. The European Projects Award is an excellent tool for institutions, organizations and privates to gain visibility on the European map and helps in positioning themselves in a European framework.
What kind of projects can be submitted and who can participate?
The European Projects Award shall be awarded to members that have an on going or finished European funded project. The European Projects Award each year rewards both finished and completed projects for every main category of the several European Programmes:
- CIP - Competitiveness and innovation Framework Programme
- Intelligent Energy Europe
- Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology
- Historical and cultural heritage
- Education and Professional Training
- Health
- Rural development
- Social protection and inclusion
- Democracy and Human Rights
- Youth in Action
- Employment Creation in SMEs
- Policy making
The Projects’ Leaders can participate to the competition by registering themselves to the European Academy and submitting the completed application form.
How to submit a project?
If you are interested in competing for the European Projects Award, you simply need to complete the application form found (on the web site, or link) and send it to the European Academy Projects Award (specify where).
Who is evaluating the projects?
To evaluate the received projects the European Academy collaborates with a Jury. The Jury is composed of the EPA administrative board and experts, including academics and representatives from the European institutions.
Project Ideas Award
The European Academy has decided to emphasize and award not only the successful European funded projects but also the outstanding submitted project ideas. Therefore everyone is welcome to submit a project’s proposal which will be evaluated by the Jury and the best project’s idea for each category of the European Programmes will be awarded. The reward consists, for the person submitting the best project’s idea, in having free access to the Project Factory and make use of all the available tools and services in order to collaborate with many experts and consequently develop and implement the conceived project.
Research Article Award
European Academy knows how difficult is for young researcher to gain visibility and publish their research works. Thus the European Academy gives the opportunity to young researchers to submit their research project. Again the best one will be selected and published on the European Academy portal. As a result the research project will be available to all the members who will be able to connect with the article’s author, establishing a possible partnership.
